Well it took perhaps not the most likely of characters to use the dreaded "N" word. I am talking about Nationalization of course. Last night on MSNBC's Hardball, Dan Neil, automotive columnist for the Los Angeles Times, called for the nationalization of GM. Man, the times they are a changing! While this is a huge leap forward for American economic thinking, lets remember, state ownership does not necessarily equal prosperity and happiness. For one, the state can be just as awful and vicious an employer as a private corporation. Now we just need to get mainstream voices calling for worker’s control!
